Below you will find our Year 6 end of year expectations for Reading, Writing and Maths. These outline the key knowledge and skills that children will be working towards throughout the year.
They are intended to give you a helpful overview of your child’s learning and the progress we hope they will make as they prepare for the next stage of their education.
Knowledge Organisers
Below you will find the knowledge organisers for each of our units across the Autumn, Spring and Summer terms. These are a helpful guide to the key knowledge, vocabulary and concepts the children will be learning throughout the year.

Please can the children bring the following items into school each day:
water bottle, containing water only
reading record
waterproof coat
Additional items/kit needed
PE lessons - Monday
Children are to arrive to school in PE kit and will get changed after our PE session into school uniform.
Swimming lessons - Friday at 9 am
Full school uniform with swimming kit on underneath: swimming costume/trunks, towel and goggles (if appropriate for swimming stage).
